🌅 Easter Sunday - He is Risen!

Image description

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead”

— 1 Peter 1:3

Easter is grace in full colour.

Praise be to God—He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Resurrection means the worst thing is never the last thing. New life is not earned; it is given.

Today, breathe hope. Let joy return. Let light be stronger than fear.

Christ is risen—and grace has the final word.

“Resurrection is not an idea; it is the life of God breaking in.”
— N. T. Wright

He is Risen. He is Risen indeed!

🌱 A Year of Momentum and Opportunity

Image description

Dear Friends,

The year has begun with real momentum as we put the CPM Development Plan into action.

There is a renewed sense of energy across the organisation, with growing opportunities for people to contribute, collaborate and shape what comes next - it’s an exciting time to be part of this journey.

As a reminder, there are several discussion groups in April to shape our approach to CPM Hubs—see details in the Dates for your Diary section.

Some headlines...

  • The new website is well underway.

  • Improved guest feedback measures have been implemented to help us to listen and learn continuously and to clearly demonstrate the impact of this ministry.

  • We’ve also begun the larger effort of refreshing training for Authorised Support Ministers, expanding self learning and strengthening shared learning through greater cohort interaction.

Alongside these new beginnings, we also pause to give thanks...

Our CPM Jubilee Anniversary party was a wonderful celebration, where we also said a fond farewell to Julie Rammell-Sime as CPM's National Administrator, with deep appreciation for her faithfulness and steady service over many years. Her contribution has helped shape who we are today, and we wish her every blessing in the chapter ahead.

We also led a CPM course in Aldershot, a new location for our ministry, where we are supporting the 'quiet revival' of new Christians in that area—do read further on for more encouraging details!

Blessings,

Ruth Street, Acting CEO

O Most High, King of the ages

Great I AM, God of wonders

By the blood You have redeemed us

Led us through mighty waters

Our strength, our song, our sure salvation

Now to the Lamb upon the throne

Be blessing, honor, glory, power

For the battle You have won

Hallelujah! Amen

O Most High, dwelling among us

Son of man sent for sinners

By Your blood You have redeemed us

Spotless Lamb, mighty Savior

Who lived, who died, who rose victorious

Now to the Lamb upon the throne

Be blessing, honor, glory, power

For the battle You have won

Hallеlujah!

With every tribе and every tongue

We join the anthem of the angels

In the triumph of the Son

Hallelujah! Amen

O Most High, King of the nations

Robed in praise, crowned with splendour

On that day who will not tremble?

When You stand Christ the Victor

Who was, and is, and is forever

Now to the Lamb upon the throne

Be blessing, honor, glory, power

For the battle You have won

Hallelujah!

With every tribe and every tongue

We join the anthem of the angels

In the triumph of the Son

Hallelujah! Amen

Amen, amen, amen

Amen, amen, amen

Amen, amen, amen

Now to the Lamb upon the throne

Be blessing, honor, glory, power

For the battle You have won

Hallelujah!

With every tribe and every tongue

We join the anthem of the angels

In the triumph of the Son

Hallelujah! Amen

Sing the victory of the Lamb

Hallelujah! Amen

Amen

📚 On the Shoulders of Giants

We have just returned from a superb Celebration Day of CPM's 25th Anniversary at Stratford’s Baptist Church, about an hour's drive from where we live.

It was an excellent day, superbly organised by Ruth Street with wonderful worship by the Stratford worship team, a great message from Rev Kate Picot, updates on CPM’s plans by Ruth and supported throughout the day by a refreshments and catering team worthy of a Michelin star! Added to that were beautiful floral table decorations, heart tokens and cards with encouraging words and uplifting scriptures.

Thank you to all who were in any way involved, and please let’s not wait another 25 years till the next one!

It was great meeting old friends and new friends experiencing CPM for the first time, and a good chance to say a big thank you to Julie as we celebrated her eighteen years at the helm of CPM’s Administration before she stood down at the end of March. We wish her and Gary every blessing in the future.

It was while preparing to thank Julie for her work that I remembered the first time we met face to face, which was in the Cromford Hotel just outside Matlock in Derbyshire. We were there for a residential weekend many years ago and CPM shared one session with an American group from Victorious Ministry through Christ.

VMTC (http://www.vmtc.net/en/) is a forerunner in the UK of Wholeness through Christ, and much of the teaching and ministry of CPM is based upon it. If you click on the link, you’ll see immediately how similar its ministry is to our own. “VMTC is a ministry devoted to the healing, freedom, and restoration of individuals through the power of the Holy Spirit and the finished work of Jesus Christ.”

The website honours its founder Anne White who began the ministry in the early 1970s, initially working with church ministers then realising the potential of extending the work through people like you and me, not just in the USA but in Canada, Scandinavia, Britain, New Zealand and Australia.

Anne wrote this: "For three long years, our five-year-old son had suffered from dreadful asthmatic attacks, and even a change of climate had brought no relief. During the most severe times of congestion, he had to be given shots of adrenalin to relieve his laboured breathing."

Her paediatrician told her that there was not much hope that her son would outgrow the disease. She awoke at two one morning to hear her son's laboured breathing. As she thought there was nothing she could do, she groaned inwardly. Then she heard a voice within her saying "Yes, there is. You can kneel down and pray. It is not My Will for an innocent child to suffer. It is your bitter resentment and you must forgive this person." As she prayed, her son took one deep, quiet breath - and never again had another asthmatic attack!”

Her willingness to forgive a family member released healing for her son’s suffering…and for her own…and meant that her own life as well as her son’s was transformed.

Not only has CPM been built with gratitude on the shoulders of ministries like VMTC and Wholeness through Christ that have preceded CPM’s 25 years of existence, but it is the power of forgiveness that continues to play a central role in the inner healing of guests whose baggage can be placed at the foot of the cross, and for whom forgiveness can sometimes be a costly but necessary part of the journey.

🎉 CPM 25th Jubilee Celebration

Image description

There was a real party buzz in the air, with plenty of chatter, laughter and a wonderfully warm atmosphere throughout the event.

The service itself felt really special, and Kate’s talk was truly inspiring—giving everyone lots to reflect on and take away.

There was a commentary video with people sharing individual's CPM memories. The event also had some poignant moments as we collectively reflected on loved members that were no longer with us.

We also had a wonderful opportunity to personally thank Julie for her many years of contribution and service as CPM's National Administrator.

The food was a definite highlight too… absolutely amazing and very much enjoyed by all! 😋

We are also delighted as a result to welcome two 'family' members who are interested in CPM membership, alongside several previous members renewing—a good sign of the growing energy in our community.

A huge thank you goes to Margaret Sare and Anne McCulloch for all their hard work behind the scenes in planning such a fantastic occasion.

It was a joyful event from start to finish!

💛 Aldershot Course - Recap

Image description

We were really blessed to be asked to run a course on behalf of The Church of St Michael the Archangel in Aldershot, last month.

We prayerfully ministered to 11 guests on the Saturday but had more who joined the talks in person, and online on the Friday; some of these are also to receive ministry in the near future on Zoom.

Some encouraging data (from Ruth):

97% of feedback scored was 5 out of 5. It was a 100% score for being listened to and supported through prayer, feeling safe and respected, and it feeling right for their situation. All but one person marked 5/5 for transformation experience, but still gave 4/5.

Some quotes from the course:

  • Every single talk was perfect. At first, I thought you put the best person forward to give a strong first impression, but the wow factor continued until the end.

  • The ministry was compassionate, gentle, full of Holy Spirit.

  • Very informative.

  • The ministry was gentle and could ask if ready and willing to cut off any bonds.

  • The main issue I came with was discerned to be the tip of an iceberg of other issues, which were all addressed.

  • That was one of the most 'professional' prayer times I've had in my life.

  • The talks made me feel relaxed and accepted. No judgement anywhere.

  • I know and am affirmed that I am a loved child of God.

  • The ministers were very approachable and understood my situation.

  • A wonderfully enlightening and spiritual experience.

  • The talks were easy to understand with great illustrations and clear objectives.

  • The ministry was freeing, a selfless giving of love and peace.

In addition to the above, one of the guests enthused: ‘This prayer was life changing’.

The following day, my husband and I attended their church service and two of the guests went forward to give testimony of the impact the course had had on them.

As the first person ran / skipped up the aisle all I could hear from the rest of the congregation was “Wow, what has happened to her, she has changed”.

There was such a buzz of excitement over coffee and a strong desire for CPM to return in the very near future.

🌼 For the Beauty of the Earth

Image description

Sitting here looking out at the garden and seeing Spring bursting forth, a verse of an old hymn came to mind:

For the beauty of the earth

For the beauty of the skies,

For the love which from our birth

Over and around us lies

Christ, our God, to Thee we raise

This, our sacrifice of praise

Seems very fitting with all that we are blessed to see.

🙏 Please Pray...

As Ruth said in her introduction, 2026 is set to be a year of momentum and opportunity for CPM. So, we would greatly value your prayers in the following key areas:

CPM Organisation
PRAY for the organisation, that God would continue to have His hand on the ministry in 2026 and provide clear direction over the coming months.

CPM Leadership
PRAY for the Steering Group, for wisdom and clear discernment of God's direction, especially regarding the key decisions that will need to be made in this new season.

CPM Development Plan
PRAY for the Core Team of Ruth Street, Ruth Stephens, Roger Sare and Hannah Pereira - who have been tasked with drawing up a development plan for the next five years and beyond!

CPM Training Sub Group
PRAY for Ruth Stephens, Lyn Williams, and other members of the TSG as they explore new ideas and possibilities for CPM's training arm.

CPM Finances
PRAY for treasurer Sarah Braithwaite as she continues to orient herself in the role, for use of new payment systems such as Stripe, and for the implementation of new accounting software - Pandle.

CPM Web Site
PRAY for Joe Silmon as he continues to build a website that will be attractive to visitors, easy for users to navigate, and a powerful tool in different areas of the ministry.

CPM Members
PRAY that all of us would hear God’s voice as we continue to pray and wait on Him through 2026 - in our lives, our relationships, our ministries, in CPM, and in this troubled world.

CPM Events
PRAY for the following events, which will take us through to the Summer 2026 newsletter:

  • Monday 13th April 2026 - HUB DISCUSSION - 7.30pm

  • Wednesday 29th April 2026 - HUB DISCUSSION - 7.30pm

📰 Volunteer Role - Newsletter Editor

Image description

Due to various commitments, I will be stepping down from editing the newsletter after the Summer 2026 edition.

The newsletter is well set for someone to take over – the current Sender template (we have switched from using Mailchimp) is easy to duplicate and edit, newsletter items come through easily to a dedicated Gmail account, and a useful publishing schedule (calls for submissions, submission close date, and publication date) is in place.

The newsletter is a key way of sharing news, encouragement, and resources across the CPM community and is likely to take on even greater significance as CPM enters what we hope will be a new season of change and growth.

If you think you might be interested in taking on this role but would like to know more, I'd be happy to set up a Zoom call to walk you through how Sender works, and answer any questions you might have.

You can contact me at
[email protected]

📲 Prayer Ministry - WhatsApp Group

Image description

We are seeing an increasing number of Prayer Ministry Appointments being arranged via the CPM website which is a huge blessing and encouragement. It also brings a challenge, as most guests are coming without receiving the benefit of a full course of teaching and meeting us face to face.

The team is doing an amazing job in meeting, teaching and spending time with these guests on Zoom and we are very grateful to all those who currently intercede and provide words, pictures and Scriptures for PMAs and MOTs as they are arranged.

However, we feel an additional layer of prayer support would be helpful.

I have set up a WhatsApp group specifically for prayer cover for these PMAs, and invite you to join the group if you feel able to pray in this way. You could pray before or after the appointment if you are unable to pray on the day.

The group is admin-only input so you will receive a notification of the time and date of a PMA and a request to pray, but you will not be able to reply. Hopefully this will mean it will be a helpful rather than an annoying tool.

If you are interested in participating, please contact me, Margaret Sare, on WhatsApp on 07803508470 and I will add you to the group.

📝 Data Protection and Gift Aid Form

Image description

In order for CPM to stay within the new Gift Aid Claim requirements recently advised by the HMRC, and in an effort to continue to comply with ICO privacy and Data protection regulations, all current CPM members are required to complete an updated Data Protection and Gift Aid form - which you can access here.

Data protection and administration is very important to CPM and in order for us to continue to comply with governing bodies and for our integrity, CPM are obliged legally to periodically update our database information. This is a legal requirement and means that if we do not receive your form CPM/I will be unable to contact you.

Each individual member requires their own signed form and ALL members will need to fill in and return this Data Protection Form regardless of Gift Aid eligibility.

If you wish to have your details removed from the database please do contact us at:
[email protected].

We would like to assure you that on behalf of the CPM membership, CPM will continue to take our duties in these areas seriously providing both integrity and confidentiality.

Your response to completing and commitment to returning this form ASAP, is extremely important, so if you are able please scan the document, forwarding the completed form to the following email address:
[email protected].
